What's The First Thing Out Of Your Mouth?
When you hit your thumb with a hammer, what's the first thing out of your mouth? When you're stuck in traffic, what's the first thing out of your mouth? When something good happens, what's ..........you got the idea.
Solomon was basically granted one wish from God. The first thing out of his mouth was to honor and praise God. He then asked for wisdom. God evidently liked that because He did give Solomon wisdom and then heaped on riches of every sort.
God hears everything we say and think. Good things happen when we honor God inside and out.

Couldn't agree more, Benny. How's my dearly beloved pastor doing these days? I've missed you and Bethel so much over the years I've been gone, but in light of my abscence from El Paso I've learned much over the years. The axiom holds true: a lesson hard learned is a lesson well learned. If you still play on Sunday mornings "Lord, I Lift Your Name On High," please think fondly of me. Give my love to everyone. I still miss my TRUE home church and El Paso.
