Do You Want To Go Thru The Portal?

This past Sunday (Easter) I talked about death being a portal, a gateway, to the next level. Jesus died to "life as He knew it" here on earth. That portal that He went through opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us. But it begs the question, "What do I need to 'die to'" to get to the next level with God. You may have everything you could ever need in this life (a good relationship with someone, a job, money, food, a house, car and more) but God says, "Come to me". WHY? Why should I go to God if I am basically taken care of? This question is huge AND we're going to explore it together over the next few weeks. BUT, for right now - shouldn't life be more than just things, earthly commodities? What does God really want from us? What is He wanting to do? Maybe a better question for us all is, "Do I really want to go thru that portal?". Give me your thoughts. THANKS
