"Sweet"

OK, I just read this verse and I had to share it with someone, but I think most everyone is asleep. This verse isn't really new to me, actually, I've preached on the 2nd half of it. BUT, the 1st half really caught my eye tonight. Look at this - "The godly are like trees that bear life-giving fruit, and those who save lives are wise." (Proverbs 11:30) If you've been in on my sermons (live or download) this will click. The fruit, or outward evidence, of a God-changed life WILL impact others - positively. Our lives should be "sweet" - something that is pleasing (tastes good) to others. Reminds me of that verse in Isaiah, "Taste ...that the Lord is good."
