Life Isn't To Be Done Alone
Well, you're probably wondering if I fell off the face of the earth. I was in Phoenix all week long @ Pastor's School. We just got back a few hours ago - I guess, now that I look at the clock, it was 10 hours ago.
The week was great. I saw a lot of friends and had a good time with them. We also took in a lot of good things. But, one of the best things was just an incredibly good time with "family". No we're not really related - we might as well be, though! I know this is a common theme of mine, but, I'll say it again. Life is not supposed to be done alone. We are relational beings. Food tastes better with friends. [I'd rather eat a PBJ with a good friend than a steak and lobster alone]. Work is better with someone. [You can have the most horrible job to do, but if you are with a good friend, it seems to be more enjoyable]. Don't be alone. Let's do life - TOGETHER.
Good night:)

BH Cubed,
What a great week of fellowship, workshops and worship.
It truly was a good time with family. It was touching Ben, to see how admired and well received you, as our shepherd, are by so many people outside our own small community. Our congregation should be reminded of this so I don't mind telling them here that we have a great ambassador for the Lord that is well respected by young and old alike.
I grew to love you guys all the more as a result of this trip, even Ralphie. Food is indeed better with friends but life is better at home with family - - and you guys are my family - - so it's good to be home and I thank the Lord that he saw us all there and home again safely.
Joe Beechler
PS I flew home earlier than you guys so if I find out you all had any fun without me I'm taking all of the above back.
